Since taking over Hotel Frisco in February 2023, we rolled up our sleeves for some major updates in May and June, reopening in July 2023 with a whole new look. We know the hotel had seen better days before we came along, and we’ve been working our hearts out to turn those past reviews around. We completely understand that it takes time for those online ratings to catch up with all of the positive changes, and we are very grateful for each and every one of you who have helped us by sharing your experiences at the renovated Hotel Frisco.

5/5 star rating - “Above and Beyond! Loved everything about this place! The text message based keyless entry, easy early check in, 11 o’clock check out, cute design, complementary happy hour drinks, music, AND they so graciously mailed me a forgotten item. We will be back!” - Courtney, Expedia review, 1/23/25

5/5 star review - “Had the BEST stay at Hotel Frisco!! I cannot recommend it enough. Affordable, perfect location, super cute rooms, and a cozy lobby with drinks and snacks! Downtown Frisco is adorable too with lots of local shops. We were traveling in during a winter storm and the interstate was closed, so we had to get rerouted over an hour out of the way. The manager Nancy texted me throughout the entire trip and helped with any concerns we had due to the storm. I haven’t had that great of customer service in a long time!” - Brooklyn Jones Wheeler, Google review, February 2025

“We were fortunate enough to be a part of the closed I-70 mess of vehicles this past Sunday (11.3.2024). After 3 hours of not moving, we started calls to find a hotel, get off the road and try again in the morning. We quickly discovered after countless calls no hotels were answering. Nancy picked up with a friendly voice starting out with "Yes, I do still have availability for this evening..." We turned around, parked and checked-in! To our amazement, the room was perfect, spotlessly clean and hardwood floors were the best surprise! The bed was comfortable, room temperature easily adjustable, a full-length mirror and mirror above the sink along, ironing board with iron and the pleasant check-out time of 11:00am. Just as we turn to head to our room she mentions the first bar beverage is complimentary, within minutes I had my beverage and headed off to sleep. Thank you Nancy! Although our stay was shorter than ideal, it was perfect for these 2 tired travelers and look forward to returning.” - Donna Merrell-Albritton, on Facebook 11/5/24

5-star rating (5/5) - “The BEST hotel experience of my 47 years!!!This hotel was the BEST find of our whole trip! Nancy, the General Manager, was the sweetest and helped with our accommodations after a long day of travel and made this experience a memorable one in the best way! I've never had customer service be this exceptional! So much so we are alredy planning our trip to Colorado next year around staying in this hotel. The room was perfect! Right in the middle of downtown Frisco, walking distance to all the best shops and food. So cute and exactly what we needed. The shower pressure was AMAZING!! The beds were so comfy and they lighting for makeup was supreme! We will be back year after year for sure. I can't wait to spend my birthday here year after year....come on 48!! :)” - SuzAnne, 10/30/24 review

5-star rating (5/5) - “I can’t say enough good things about this hotel! The location is prime, the rooms are clean and modern. Nancy was who took our reservation, invited us to the HH and truly took our stay to the next level experience. The live music and HH in the main room was a treat and the nice sitting area outside our room was perfect for morning coffee or a night cap! Dog friendly is a big plus for us as well 🩷 can’t wait to come back! Thanks Nancy, you’re an incredible person.” - Ashlee Doheny, 9/23/24 Google review

9/10 rating - “Comfortable and stylish small hotel right in the town centre. Loved the location on Main Street (a lovely street!). The hotel was a little smaller than I imagined, but stylish and well-equipped with communal areas and a shared tea/coffee point with cereal bars available to eat. We enjoyed the happy hour where you get a free drink of wine (generous measure) or beer and can sit inside or out on the front patio. The room was very comfortable and had a fridge and a view of the hills. The hotel manager was helpful. There was plenty to do in Frisco and we wished we had planned to stay longer.” - William, 8/4/24 Booking.com review

5-star rating (5/5) - Y’all… this hotel is IT. Nancy was keeping me up to date all day with all the codes we needed to get into the hotel and our room, and she even upgraded us! They had complementary happy hour 4-6 with legit wine, and i’m picky about wine. Right on main street. No brainer. Save money rather than staying in Breck stay here… you won’t regret it! - Morgan Wright, 5/11/24 Google review

5-star rating (5/5) - We had an impromptu stay here after a snowstorm shut down the I70. The hostess was very nice and accommodating. The hotel is updated, is very clean, spacious rooms (we got a King), comfortable beds, good wifi, good TV options on a bug screen/modern TV, and is in a great location on Main Street. Uptown restaurant next door had amazing food (we got the meatloaf and pot pie). Butterhorn Cafe is one block away and is rated the best in summit County (can confirm its delicious). The hotel even offered a military discount that is extended to first responders. We would stay here again in a heart beat. - Lauren La Bella, 5/7/24 Google review

5-star rating (5/5) - Love this place. Stayed during the shoulder season. Warm fireplace in the entrance lobby. Snacks, coffee, 1 complimentary drink 😯 (and the wine is bottled, not boxed!), music and a TV. Did I mention the upstairs lounge with tables and board games and books galore?! A lot of the rooms have private porches. Nice shampoo and soap in the bathroom. I’ve saved the best part for last: Nancy, the Hotel Manager. You’ll be lucky if you get a chance to sit down and chat with her. So sweet. So accommodating. Thanks Nancy for providing such hospitality for our mother/son road trip ☺️ - Philip Davis, 4/30/24 Google review

“Hotel Frisco was AMAZING! Not only is the location ideal for a cozy and quiet vacation but the hospitality of the staff is top notch. Downtown Frisco has something for everyone. The restaurants were all very yummy! There are cute shops to browse through all down the street that the hotel is on. The proximity to a bus stop to take you to downtown Breck and other skiing locations was only two blocks away. Hotel frisco is adult, family and pet friendly! Our favorite parts of our stay: The happy hour from 4-6pm, is key!!! We loved grabbing a glass of wine before dinner and chatting with other guests or the hotel managers. They also have local musicians that entertain on Fridays and Saturdays during the happy hour time. The community “living room” areas. This is a great spot with the fire to make you cozy. They supply granola bars, water, coffee, hot chocolate, liquid IV, games and books and much more! They are very accommodating during your stay. Hotel management was top notch! Nancy is such a bright character. She is fun to sit and chit chat with. We watched the Super Bowl with her and other guests and had a great time. Bri is very sweet and helpful during our stay. As well as, Kate, she talked with us and made us feel at home in a hotel! The hotel is pet friendly!!!! I think this is one of the best parts! Our dog had an amazing time. She loved going out in the living room area and seeing Nancy, Bri and Kate, as well as the other guests. The location of the hotel is also great for pets. We walked to the bus stop everyday to go skiing and snowboarding. This was very convenient because we never had to drive anywhere! If you are booked for an extended stay management makes it a priority to call their guests and ask if they would like a “room refresh”. Management always answers texts within a timely manner! You can tell they love their jobs and want their guests to have the best experience.” - Ashley, 2/16/24 Facebook review

5-star rating (5/5) - “We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Frisco. The building itself is gorgeous and works perfectly into the small town feel. We kept saying we felt like we were in a hallmark movie. The suite was beautiful and spacious. The lobby offers complimentary drinks, coffee, and even a happy hour with live music! Guest services was so friendly. Location was absolutely amazing, so many restaurants and places to walk to. We absolutely loved our stay and can’t wait to come back.” - Magdelynne Earp, 1/25/24 Google review

5-star rating (5/5) - We had a great stay at Hotel Frisco! The hotel has recently undergone renovations, which I suspect are the reasons for the unfavorable past reviews. The renovations are complete and the result is a quaint, charming, property that feels more like a B&B than a hotel. We were greeted with a warm, friendly face in the lobby and offered complimentary drinks. Property is conveniently located in downtown Frisco nearby many restaurants and shopping. Comes with all the amenities + sizeable, comfortable rooms. Highly recommend, we will certainly be back! - Evan Perkins, 1/21/24 Google review

10-star rating (10/10) - “Wonderful experience, would rather stay here than the previous experience I had at an Aspen resort - The lobby and the amenities were a great touch. Knowing I’d probably see and need IV hydration packets and a variety of drinks was nice. The small things really count for me, including the type of shampoo and conditioner they had. The decor was cute and the bedding was comfortable. The customer service was amazing via text and their preprinted signage, I initially thought contactless check-in might be an issue but it was completely seamless and now I prefer it if they are offering what Hotel Frisco is doing.” - Maria, U.S., 1/17/24 Booking.com review

“Adorable, well appointed, enjoyable, perfect location - Hotel Frisco was terrific! The location is great, they allow pets and they offer a nice little happy hour in the lobby. There was acoustic music when we were there. It was very relaxed and enjoyable. We made friends with some other hotel patrons and the musician. We will stay there again.” - Discover52402887500, 11/12/23 TripAdvisor review

“Beautifully redone, clean, friendly, dog friendly, FUN - Stayed in the apartment for 4 nights during 3rd week of August. The apartment was amazing - full kitchen, bedroom with walk-in closet, large beautiful bathroom, laundry facilities, CLEAN, and several areas to congregate with friends - inside and out. Hard to believe, but it's also dog friendly! A great location in the middle of downtown Frisco - it can be a bit noisy on Friday/Saturday nights, but the noise calmed down fairly early (10ish). Parking was reasonably priced, just out the back door, and very predictable. Close to Leadville (a family member was running the Leadville 100 miler which is what brought us into town), an easy walk to Frisco Bay, plenty of good restaurants, beautiful scenery. Hotel staff were present throughout our stay, and were very friendly and efficient. I had read bad reviews from years past, but decided to give it a chance, since it changed hands in Feb 2023 (I think), recently reopened in June 2023 - with a very lovely remodel/upgrade, was more reasonably priced than VRBOs, and nice reception on phone inquiries. The lobby is cozy, and outdoor patio on Main Street is a fun way to relax with a beverage. Hope I have a chance to return!” - Go791442, 9/5/23 TripAdvisor review
